This is version 1.5 of MBA Phrases, the software utility that puts your career on the fast–track by generating an endless supply of fashionable Power Phrases. This version includes more secret MBA code words recently released to alumni of the top business schools. Current preferred management styles change almost daily, and MBA Phrases will see to it that you don't get Left Behind.
In addition to enhanced phrase–generating power, version 1.5 includes COLOR in various displayed items, sure to please even the most burned–out of struggling executive types.
At great effort and expense, MBA Phrases version 1.5 has been made completely System 7.0 –friendly. It takes advantage of many of the new features of System 7.0, yet still is hauntingly memorable when run under older version of System Software.
Registered owners of version 1.4.2 will find that 1.5 provides a greater degree of global empowerment.

Operation of MBA Phrases has not been changed; significant help is available by clicking the "Info" button, or for System 7.0 users, by turning on Balloon Help.
MBA Phrases is ShareWare, ostensibly. If you find yourself using MBA Phrases with alarming regularity, and who wouldn't, then you should drop us a line. Money is also good. Likewise negotiable securities.
Version 1.5 has been tested with all manner of Macintosh computer stuff, including, but not limited to: Mac SE, SE/30, Mac II, Mac IIfx, and Mac Plus running System 6.0.x with and without MultiFinder, and System 7.0 final. Also tested with the usual giant boatload of inits, Cdevs, Mdevs, and etc. No pernicious bugs have been reported.
If you have an earlier version of MBA Phrases on your disk, you will want to rebuild your desktop in order to see the new Icons. (Rebuild the Desktop on your Mac by holding down the Command (the one with the apple on it) and Option keys while starting up.

Specific Information Details:
The hardest part of developing a System 7.0 version of MBA Phrases was getting the treasured gargling noise to work properly. It does.
Version 1.5 will relinquish processor time to tasks running in the background while MBA Phrases is waiting for you to generate another startling Power Phrase. It will also behave if you don't use 7.0 or MultiFinder.
A loathsome bug in text editing was ameliorated in this version. Cutting and pasting phrases into your documents has never been easier. Command–Key shortcuts are supported. Pasting back into the MBA Phrase window is not supported, and is dumb.
The following ideas were suggested by users, and they are being considered.
1. A "translation" box which converts the MBA Phrases into English.
2. Allow Cut & Paste of the "Custom" phrase.
3. "Modules" of different phrase words for non-MBAs;
Engineer Phrases, Doctor Phrases, Politician Phrases, etc.
4. Changing the "About…" box picture. (Not likely)

MBA Phrases was written with Think C ™.
Programmer–types might be vaguely interested that MBA Phrases started as a DA, and later an impassioned drive to make concatenated strings in a Dialog Box, which supported TextEdit functions. Easy, right? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. I resorted to TE routines, which work well as long as you remember that the Dialog Manager calls them too, and remember to call PtoCstr if you are using a C procedure. Loads of fun occurred early on with dreaded mutant memory management problems and some surprises due to the nasty way I was treating the TEScrap. Not much in the way of error checking. As a matter of fact, there's no error checking. Neat, huh?
